As a child, I loved stapling blank pages together to write books - a passion I still pursue on my laptop today.

I have a degree in social work and have my masters degree in healthcare administration and gerontology.

My full-time job is as an inspector and investigator for long term care facilities. I evaluate compliance with state regulations and ensure residents are protected from abuse, neglect, and exploitation. This type of work involves a lot of technical writing, which inevitably reignited my love for creative writing. 

I enjoy exploring little-known history, unsolved mysteries, and weird science.

I'm also a mom of two wonderful kids and have a supportive husband who is always willing to proofread.
